Filming Of Roshan Das’s “Prativairam” Completed

The filming of “Prativairam,” directed by Roshan Das, has been successfully completed. The movie, centered around social and political issues of the Madhesh region, was shot over a period of 45 days, according to the production team.

The first phase of shooting took place in Sarlahi for 15 days, while the second phase was completed in Siraha over 30 days. The cinematography was handled by Director of Photography (DOP) Jack. With filming now wrapped up, the project has entered the post-production stage.

The film features performances from Samrat Das, Birendra Kushwaha, Alisha Bastola, Supragya Sharma, Gita Shree, Ashish D.K., Pradeep Dhakal, Narayan B.K., BK Shah, and Ramesh Budhathoki, among others.

Serving as associate directors are Santosh Malla, Agni Subedi, Dhiraj Raut, and Srijana Bhujel. The movie is produced under the banner of Rage Entertainment, with Kamal Sunar as the production manager and Pankaj Mahato overseeing line production.

According to director Roshan Das, the film aims to portray the real stories, beauty, and struggles of the Madhesh region with authenticity. “Through Prativairam, we want to bring the true essence of Madhesh to the audience,” he stated.

The story of the film is written by director Das himself, while the screenplay is penned by Yuvraj Bhattarai. The production team has announced plans to release the film in 2083 B.S. (2026 A.D.).
