The teaser of the film ‘Muglan’, produced under the banner of Rihan Production, has been released. The production team unveiled the teaser on Sunday via Yuna Digital’s YouTube channel.
The 39-second teaser depicts a young family struggling with financial difficulties who travel to India for labor to secure a better life. It portrays the hardships they face abroad and the oppression they encounter back home, highlighting their fight to achieve happiness and fulfill their dreams. According to the production team, the teaser reflects the real stories of Nepali society.
‘Muglan’ aims to showcase the dreams of youth abroad, the love of rural communities, and tales of struggle. Scheduled for release on Poush 10, the film stars Prabhat Pal and Smarika Dhakal in lead roles. Supporting actors include Shree Shivanshu, Dinesh DC, Moti Subedi, Ramchandra Adhikari, Kh.B.Pu., Raju Raj Soni, Rashmi Bhatt, Jeevan Gautam, and Sabin Bastola.
Written and directed by Ashesh Dhakal, the film is produced by Goman Singh, with Rita Chaudhary as co-producer. Editing is by Tara Thapa ‘Kimbhe’, action direction by Jay Bista and Ram Guru, BGM by Ridam Kandel, choreography by Debendra Kunwar, and cinematography by Ajay Regmi.
Music is composed by Kiran Bhusal, with vocals by Shantishree Pariyar, Pratap Das, Benisha Paudel, Hari Giri (Vimrshi) among others. Lyrics are written by Ashesh Dhakal, Sirjana Lamsal, and Hari Giri (Vimrshi). The film will be distributed by RR Films.
