Rajani Thapa from Urlabari, Morang, has been crowned the winner of the ninth edition of Miss Koshi 2025. Organized by Jai Media Management Pvt. Ltd., the event was held in Biratnagar, where Thapa outshined 16 other finalists to claim the title.
According to Jai Raj Rai, the chairperson of Jai Media Management Pvt. Ltd., the winner received a cash prize of NPR 100,000 along with various gift hampers.
In the competition, Deepanjali Rai from Barju, Sunsari, was named First Runner-up, Garima Shashankar (Gurans) from Inaruwa Second Runner-up, Bhumikā Nepal from Kathmandu Third Runner-up, and Diya Rai from Dharan Fourth Runner-up.
In the sub-title categories, Laxmi Chaudhary from Sundarharaicha won Organizer’s Choice, Yunika Bishwakarma from Arjundhara won both Miss Popular and Miss Multimedia, Apeksha Chaudhary from Itahari received Miss Public Choice and Miss Catwalk, Saru Limbu from Belbari won Miss Beauty with Brain, Rajani Thapa was awarded Miss Personality, and Garima Shashankar (Gurans) earned Miss Talent.
Similarly, Simran Sahu from Biratnagar was named Miss Photogenic, Diya Rai Miss Beautiful Smile, Deepanjali Rai Miss Beautiful Hair, Laxmi Chaudhary Miss Intellect, Nima Rajbanshi from Biratnagar Miss Physique, Deepika Shah Miss Best Transformation, and Bhumikā Nepal Miss Refreshing Face.
The event was held under the chief guestship of Morang’s Assistant Chief District Officer, Saroj Koirala. The panel of judges included Dr. Shivendra Jha, Dean of BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (Ghopa Camp); Rishidev Ghimire, Chairperson of the National Literary Foundation; Miss Koshi 2024 winner Shubhalaxmi Rai; and filmmaker-director Nitin Kumar Chand.
