‘Maan Binako Dhan’ Releases Song, Receives Positive Audience Response

The new song “Ba Ama” from the Nepali film ‘Maan Binako Dhan’, which released last Friday, has been officially unveiled. The song features vocals by Ashok Darji and A.R. Budhathoki, with music and arrangement by Tank Budhathoki and lyrics by Shankar Acharya.

The film is receiving strong audience appreciation across theatres nationwide. Since its release, viewers of all ages—from students to senior citizens—have been attending screenings in large numbers.

Artists visiting theatres report that the film, based on Ashok Darji’s real-life story, has deeply touched audiences. Videos of viewers embracing Darji in tears have gone viral on social media. Families, including children and parents, have also been seen leaving theatres visibly moved.

Cast members are visiting cinemas both in Kathmandu and across the country to gather direct feedback. The film initially ran 95 shows on its first day and now has approximately 125 shows, with houseful audiences at each screening.

The cast includes Ashok Darji, Saroj Khanal, Santosh Pant, Rama Thapliya, Neeta Dhungana, Ramesh Bishwakarma, Bhola Sapkota, Buddhi Tamang, Ravindra Jha, Shankar Shrestha, Samrajni Thapa, Bina Raut, A.R. Budhathoki, Babu Parajuli, among others.

‘Maan Binako Dhan’ is written and directed by Tank Budhathoki, with screenplay and dialogues by Shivam Adhikari. The film is produced under Tank Budhathoki Production by Bishnumaya Mainali, with Minu Sharma (Sapana) as executive producer and co-producers G.P. Sangrola, Bibek Nepal, and Bijaya Pandey. Tika Ram Budhathoki serves as the creative director.

Music is by Tank Budhathoki, cinematography by Saurabh Lama, choreography by Kaviraj Gehtraraj and Ramji Lamichhane, editing by Mitra D. Gurung, and chief assistant direction by Navaraj Sharma. The film is distributed by Apple Entertainment, Reach Entertainment, and FD Company.
