Director Gyanendra Deuja’s Jhingedau–2 has cast Mahesh Tripathi and Aryan Sigdel.
The film, set to go on floors from the 15th, will feature Mahesh in place of Mukun, according to director Deuja.
In this sequel, along with Mahesh and Aryan, senior actor Saroj Khanal, veteran actress Basundhara Bhusal, and Chaitadevi Singh, among other new faces, have also been signed.
Apart from Mukun, the rest of the cast from the previous installment — Keki Adhikari, Aanchal Sharma, Kushal Bista, Anshu Maharjan, Bijay Deuja, Sangam Bhandari, Hiunwala Gautam, and Ayan Khadka — remain unchanged.
The film is produced by Shulabh Pratik Deuja and Samiksha Deuja.
With Ishwor Ghimire as the production head, Jhingedau–2 will feature cinematography by Bishnu Kalpit, music by Arjun Pokharel, action direction by Roshan Shrestha, and editing by Mitra D. Gurung.
Director Deuja has announced that the film will be released during next year’s Dashain festival.
Apple Entertainment will handle the nationwide release of the film.
