‘Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho’ Received the Best Narrative Film Award in the United States

At the ‘San Francisco International New Concept Film Festival’ held in San Francisco, California, USA, the Nepali film ‘Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho’ has won an award. Among 118 films submitted from around the world, the film won the award for Best Narrative Film.

Receiving the award, the film’s producer and director Mitra Pradhan (Nar) said that winning the Best Narrative Film Award in the United States is a matter of great pride in itself and a moment of happiness for the Nepali film industry. Pradhan also expressed gratitude to all the juries for appreciating his story.

Previously, the film had also won the Best Cinematography Award at the ‘Milton Keynes International Film Festival 2025’ held in the UK. The film was shot by Saurav Lama.

Presented by Padma Ishwar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the film features Mitra Pradhan as the presenter and is produced by Gyan Bahadur Pradhan (Roshan). The cast includes Vijay Baral, Roshan Shrestha, Wilson Bikram Rai, Ayusha Samal, Buddhi Tamang, Narayan Khati, Bhupendra Lingden “Mantri”, Bijita Pariyar, among others.

Directed by Mitra Pradhan (Nar), the film is written by Shivam Adhikari. The technical team includes cinematography by Saurav Lama, action direction by Dev Maharjan, VFX by Samir Miya, choreography by Kaviraj Gahatraj and Pramod Bhandari, editing by Banish Shah, and CGI by Satyam Rana.
