Classic Cine Universe Donates PMW Sony EX3 Camera to Film Development Board

Classic Cine Universe Pvt. Ltd, a prominent name in Nepali cinematography, has donated its PMW Sony EX3 camera to the Film Development Board as part of its institutional contribution.

This camera, used in numerous popular Nepali films including Dulahi, Sorya, Haata Lagyo Shunya, Kasam, and Namaste, has been provided to be displayed in the Film Museum as a symbol of the company’s 25-year journey and contributions to the film industry.

Key films shot using the PMW Sony EX3 include Dulahi, Sorya, Haata Lagyo Shunya, Kasam, and Namaste.

Established in Kartik 2057 BS, Classic Cine Universe marked its 25th anniversary by formally handing over the camera to the Film Development Board’s chairman Dinesh DC on 2082/07/12 BS, in a ceremony led by director Divesh Kumar Maharjan.

The ceremony was attended by Classic Cine Universe Chairman Dinesh Singh Mahara, production designer Prakash Hamal, and other notable personalities. The Film Development Board has recognized this donation as an important step toward preserving Nepali film history and building a film museum.
