Starbos Coffee Opens Its First Outlet in Durbar Marg: International Café Experience Now in Nepal

 Aiming to bring an international-level café experience to Nepal, Starbos Coffee has officially opened its first outlet in Durbar Marg, Kathmandu.

The café was inaugurated during a special ceremony on Saturday by actress and Miss Nepal 2020 Namrata Shrestha, Nabil Bank CEO Manoj Kumar Gyawali, and Chairman of Taksar Group of Companies Shreekrishna Shrestha.

Operated by Taksar Group of Companies, Starbos Coffee seeks to elevate Nepal’s café culture through its modern ambiance, world-class service, and premium coffee and delicacies.

During the opening ceremony, actress Namrata Shrestha was announced as the official brand ambassador of Starbos Coffee. The company believes her influential image will help strengthen brand identity and customer trust.

Chief guest and Nabil Bank CEO Manoj Gyawali praised the launch of a new business amid challenging economic conditions, calling it a “positive message for the market.” He expressed confidence that Starbos Coffee would inspire other entrepreneurs to explore opportunities within Nepal.

Journalist Rishi Dhamala, speaking at the event, emphasized the need for government support to businesses affected by the Gen-Z movement. He mentioned that the movement has played a significant role in transforming Nepal’s business environment.

According to Taksar Group Chairman Shreekrishna Shrestha, the successful launch of Starbos Coffee despite several challenges is a major milestone for the company. He stated that their goal is to establish Starbos as one of Nepal’s leading café brands, offering excellent service, delightful coffee, and a peaceful atmosphere.

Built to meet international standards, Starbos Coffee has formed a strong team of industry experts. The company believes this project will contribute to youth employment, skill development, and entrepreneurship promotion in Nepal.

Following the launch of its first outlet at Durbar Marg, Starbos Coffee is preparing to open its second branch in Tinkune and a third branch in Imadol, Lalitpur. The company also plans to expand franchise outlets across major cities in Nepal.

Starbos Coffee is the first hospitality project under TG Ventures, a key business unit of Taksar Group of Companies. Through this initiative, the group has formally entered Nepal’s hospitality and café industry.

The event was attended by Taksar Group Co-founder and Franchise Head Dirgha Prasad Karmaacharya, Starbos Coffee Managing Director Purna Shrestha, General Manager Subash Adhikari, artist Yaman Shrestha, and other distinguished guests.
