The Nir Shah–starrer ‘Paran’ has officially become the highest-grossing Nepali film of the year 2082. As of 6 PM on its 21st day of release (Thursday), the film has collected an impressive NPR 126.6 million gross at the Cinepa Box Office.
Directed by Deepak Acharya ‘Kaku,’ the film has surpassed the earnings of Anmol KC’s romantic drama ‘Jerry on Top’, which had grossed NPR 121.4 million during the same reporting period.
Paran continues to show strong momentum. Even on weekdays, it is earning NPR 3 to 5 million daily, indicating that the film is on track to cross the NPR 140 million mark by the upcoming weekend.
A strong wave of positive word-of-mouth has significantly contributed to the film’s performance, keeping its box office run robust. Meanwhile, preparations are underway for the film’s release in various international markets, according to the production team.
