‘Maan Bin Ko Dhan’ Team Offers Support and Discounts to Schools Nationwide

he Nepali film “Maan Bin Ko Dhan,” starring child singer Ashok Darji, continues to attract audiences in its third week of nationwide screening, earning approximately 35 million NPR and receiving widespread acclaim.

Based on Darji’s real-life story, the film has resonated deeply with viewers. Videos of audiences embracing and crying with Darji have gone viral on social media. Audiences ranging from school students to senior citizens have been seen emotionally moved in theaters.

Director Tank Budhathoki shared on Facebook that the film highlights the mentor–student relationship and the importance of duty, receiving feedback that it is a must-watch for all teachers and students.

Budhathoki also announced that the production team is ready to collaborate with schools across the country, offering support to ensure students can watch the film. The movie effectively emphasizes teacher–student bonds, family values, and the significance of moral education.

The cast includes Ashok Darji, Saroj Khanal, Santosh Pant, Rama Thapliya, Nita Dhungana, Ramesh Bishwakarma, Bhola Sapkota, Buddhi Tamang, Ravindra Jha, Parvati Adhikari, A.R. Budhathoki, Shankar Shrestha, Samrajni Thapa, Bina Raut, Babu Parajuli, Raksha Shrestha, Priyanka Jha, Aryan Pokhrel, and Vijay Dangol.

The film is written and directed by Tank Budhathoki, with screenplay and dialogues by Shivam Adhikari. Produced under Tank Budhathoki Production by Vishnumaya Mainali, the executive producer is Minu Sharma (Sapna), and co-producers include G.P. Sangrola, Bibek Nepal, and Bijaya Pande. Creative direction is by Tikaram Budhathoki.

Tank Budhathoki also composed the music, Saurabh Lama handled cinematography, choreography was done by Kaviraj Gahtoraj and Ramji Lamichhane, and editing by Mitra D. Gurung.
