‘Jerry on Top’ Secures Screening Rights in Malaysia, Set for Early December Release

The Nepali film “Jerry on Top,” already screening in Nepal and other international markets, is set for release in Malaysia.

The film, which has grossed over NPR 120 million in Nepal, has had its Malaysian screening rights purchased by businessman Hari Bhattarai, coordinator for the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Asia-Pacific.

Bhattarai confirmed that the film will hit Malaysian box offices in the first week of December. “We plan to release it in major cities and in other areas with a large Nepali population through the most accessible screening methods,” he said.

Previously released simultaneously in Nepal, Australia, and the United States, the film is also screening across Europe, the Middle East, the UK, Korea, and Thailand. Starring actor Anmol KC, the film has achieved the highest business of his career and is enjoying strong demand in international markets.

Produced under Ananya Films and presented by Saroj Nyaupane, the film is directed by Suyog Gurung and features Anmol KC, Aanchal Sharma, Jasita Gurung, Bhuvan KC, Kedar Ghimire, Usha Khadgi, and Suraksha Pant.
