‘PR’ Sells Out in Australia and New Zealand

The upcoming Nepali film PR, directed by Shovhit Basnet and set to release on December 11, has sold out in both Australia and New Zealand ahead of its official release. The film has been acquired by Mr. Shrestha Proprietary Limited and Shrestha Facility Management Company.

According to company director Bijendra Shrestha, the film was purchased due to its strong social message and broad audience appeal.

Special screenings of PR had already been organized in several Australian cities, where most viewers praised the film and the production team for its quality.

The film features R.A. Suraj Paudel, Vinita Karki, Rajan Kunwar, Pooja Chaudhary, Ashma Adhikari Mastani, Bimala Khatri, Ganesh Budhathoki, Max Krishna Thapa, and Naveen Ghyal in lead roles.

Special appearances include Neer Shah, Gauri Malla, Rabindra Khadka, Uttam KC Nepal, and Dikpal Karki.

Director Basnet is currently in Australia promoting the film and preparing for its theatrical release there.

The film is presented by Ranjit Sah and Santosh Tiwari, with investment from Laxman Sapkota and Pradeep Dahal. It features editing by Bande Prasad, screenplay by Ganesh Budhathoki, and cinematography by Saurabh Sayami and Saurabh Lama.

The soundtrack includes music by Manas Raj, with vocals by Sanup Paudel and Neetu Pun. Produced under the Salon Salina Films banner, the film’s choreography is by Ramji Lamichhane.
