‘Mirmire’ Sells International Screening Rights in 5 Countries including the Middle East

The international screening rights of the upcoming Nepali film ‘Mirmire’, presented by Yarsa Films, have been sold in five countries across the Middle East and Asia. Director Yam Sherpa confirmed that the rights for UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Israel, and Malaysia have been acquired by Aashish Entertainment.

The film recently released two first-look posters featuring the lead cast — Dayahang Rai, Sirjana Ninglekhu, Prakash Saput, a child actor, and Shaisa Gauchan.

Mirmire is scheduled for release on January 14 (Magh 1).

The cast includes Dayahang Rai, Prakash Saput, Sirjana Ninglekhu, Maotse Gurung, Chhulthim Gurung, Bholaraj Sapkota, Shaisa Gauchan, Divisha Pant, Chirag Shrestha, and Namanraj Gajurel.

This marks the first collaboration between Dayahang Rai and Prakash Saput, while the director had previously worked with Dayahang in his debut film Karsang.

The story of Mirmire is written by director Yam Sherpa himself. Cinematography is handled by Alok Shukla.

Producers include Nimu Sherpa, Chongba Lama Sherpa, and Angchiring Sherpa, with Govinda Bohara and Sudip Kunwar serving as co-producers.

The executive producer is film distributor Rohit Kattel of RR Films. Birendra Shahi is the line producer, Sudip Kunwar the chief assistant director, Sanju Thalung Limbu the makeup artist, and Dilip Pant the production controller.

Nationwide distribution rights of the film are handled by RR Films, led by Rohit Kattel and Ratna Shrestha.
