New Song ‘Pahuna’ from ‘Harsha’ Released

The Nepali film Harsha, which released last Friday, has unveiled its new song, Pahuna. The track features lyrics by the late filmmaker Shiva Regmi, composition by Sameer–Himal, and a rearrangement by Basanta Sapkota. The song is performed by singer Garima Adhikari.

The music video highlights lead child actor Simon Wadi, alongside Khagendra Lamichhane and Barsha Raut. Since the film’s release, Simon has drawn significant attention in the film community and is visiting theatres to interact with audiences. Actress Barsha Raut also expressed joy over the positive feedback.

On Saturday, members of Pokhara Avengers watched the film and said it offered much-needed refreshment despite the pressure of ongoing matches.

Harsha marks the directorial debut of Ekata Paudel, niece of late director Shiva Regmi. A graduate of New York Film Academy with additional academic background in mass communication, management and leadership, Paudel has previously produced several short films.

The film features Khagendra Lamichhane, Barsha Raut, Nir Shah, Santosh Pant, Sharmila Malla, Maotse Gurung, Bishal Pahari, Nima Pandey, Looniva Tuladhar, Anshu Maharjan, Renu Pradhan, Suvarna Thapa, Srishti Maharjan, Sirjana Napit and child actor Simon Wadi.

It also includes cinematography by Alok Shukla, music by Sameer–Himal, Basanta Sapkota and Alish Karki, editing by Lokesh Bajracharya, and choreography by Sunil Chhetri and director Paudel.

Produced under the banners of Ashtalakshmi Productions and E-Prime Movies, the film is written by director Paudel.

Prasanna Paudel and Bikash Paudel serve as producers, while Hikmat Chokhal is the executive producer and Ishwar Ghimire the production manager. Kuldeep Sharma is the chief assistant director.
