The trailer of the Nepali feature film ‘Lokanti,’ produced under the banner of Krishan Films, has been officially released. The film is scheduled for a nationwide theatrical release from Friday, December 11. The trailer was unveiled during a special event held in Kathmandu.
The 2-minute 30-second trailer highlights elements of comedy and family drama. The entire film team was present at the launch event, and all the major cast members have been featured in the trailer.
‘Lokanti,’ written by Kaji Limbu, has been presented as a complete family drama by director Ranjit Rana. Actor Asiraj Garach appears in the lead role. Returning to the screen after several years, Garach expressed confidence that the film has turned out well and will be loved by audiences.
The film is produced by Santosh Nyaupane. Asiraj stars alongside actress and model Richa Thapa, with supporting roles played by Bimala Limbu, Kumar Nyaupane, Bikash Adhikari, Daman Rupakheti, and Govinda Prabhat, among others. The film also marks the acting debut of Kumar Nyaupane and Bikash Adhikari.
The music is composed by Bikash Chaudhary, with cinematography by Ronish Tamang Changba. The makeup is done by Ashok Rokaya, and editing by Gautam Raj Khadka. The trailer is edited by Sandeep Dangi.
The film features songs by Shankar Adhikari, Dr. Om Krishna Prasai, Dipendra Khadka, and Sandeep Dangi. Rooted in Nepali culture and carrying emotional and social themes, ‘Lokanti’ is expected to offer audiences a fresh cinematic experience.
