Kathmandu – The title song of the upcoming Nepali film ‘PR’, directed by Shovit Basnet, has been officially released. The song ‘PR ko Chakkarle’ was launched online as the film prepares for its theatrical release this Friday.
The music video features RA Suraj Paudel, Vinita Karki, Rajan Kunwar, Pooja Chaudhary, and Ashma Adhikari. The track includes music by Manas Raj, vocals by Manas Raj and Samiksha Adhikari, and choreography by Shovit Basnet. The song is available on the Saloma YouTube channel.
Produced under the banner of Salona Salina Films, the movie stars RA Suraj Paudel, Vinita Karki, Rajan Kunwar, Pooja Chaudhary, Ashma Adhikari, Mastani Dagi, Bimala Khatri, Ganesh Budhathoki, Max Babu, Krishna Thapa, and Naveen Ghayal.
Special appearances include Neer Shah, Gauri Malla, Rabindra Khadka, Uttam K.C., and Dikpal Karki.
Based on themes of love, struggle, and immigration, the film is presented by Ranjit Sah and Santosh Tiwari, with producers Laxman Sapkota and Pradip Dahal. According to the production team, ‘PR’ explores the dreams, challenges, and social realities faced by Nepali youths aspiring to go abroad.
The film features editing by Bande Prasad, writing by Ganesh Budhathoki, and cinematography by Saurav Sayami and Saurav Lama. RR Films is handling the distribution.
Following the song’s release, director Shovit Basnet expressed confidence that the film will offer audiences a compelling blend of romance, action, and social message.
