The teaser of the film ‘Aa Bata Aama,’ directed by Chandra Pant, has crossed 1.1 million views within just two days of its release on YouTube. As of the time of reporting, the teaser had already earned over 52,000 likes and more than 2,100 comments.
Viewer Ashish Malla Thakuri shared that he watched the teaser 103 times and was still not satisfied, writing:
“I’ve watched it 103 times. Now I’ll directly watch the film. Pal Shah’s acting is so outstanding that it’s hard to describe.”
Another commenter, Suraj Thapa, praised actress Bipana Thapa, writing:
“Bipana Thapa is the best. Can anyone act as well as she does?”
Many viewers commented that the film’s title ‘Aa Bata Aama’ itself carries emotional weight. The teaser portrays the emotional struggle of parents whose son is preparing to go abroad—a sentiment relatable to many Nepali families.
Shot in locations including Chitwan and Kathmandu, the film features Pal Shah, Pradeep Rawat, Bipana Thapa, Gajit Bishta, Saigress Pokharel, Simran Pant, and Usha Upreti in lead roles.

Produced under the banner of Arya Entertainment, the film features Nawaraj Upreti as DOP and music by Koshish Chhetri, Babul Giri, and Thaneshwor Gautam.
RR Films will handle distribution, while OSR Digital has acquired the digital rights.
The film is set to release on Magh 16.
