Kathmandu: Singer Bindu Pariyar has teamed up with singer and rapper Ashman KC for their new song ‘Chwappa Moi’, which was officially released at a special event in Kathmandu.
The song features lyrics and music composed by Ashman KC himself. Both Bindu and Ashman appear in the music video, which was well received by artists, musicians, and attendees at the launch event, who praised their musical chemistry.
Speaking at the event, Bindu Pariyar shared that the song fulfilled a long-held dream of hers.
“I always wanted to dance in my own song, and this time that dream came true. This is a dance-oriented track, and collaborating with Ashman has given the song a unique identity. We have tried to make a song that appeals to all age groups,” she said.
Bindu also revealed that this was her first experience modeling in a music video. Attendees praised her distinctive voice and described her collaboration with Ashman as refreshing and impactful.
Lyricist Rajendra Thapa highlighted Bindu’s unique vocal quality and appreciated the new collaboration.
“I noticed Bindu from her early days because of her distinctive voice. She continues to showcase her versatility through different genres. The inclusion of rap in a modern style opens up new creative possibilities,” he remarked.
Rapper Hakim also praised the music video, expressing confidence that collaboration between artists from different musical genres would bring freshness to the audience.
“Bindu is known for both modern and playback singing, while Ashman has shown strong potential in rap music. Their collaboration aims to bring together audiences who appreciate both genres,” he said.
The song ‘Chwappa Moi’ has been released through Bindu Pariyar’s official YouTube channel. It was recorded at Dynamic Studio and arranged by Bimal Chhinal.
The music video features cinematography by Meghnath Chaudhary, makeup by Bimala Tamang, color grading, VFX, and editing by Milan Bishwakarma, choreography by Roshan Bishwakarma, and direction by Ashman KC himself.
