Kathmandu — Filming for the upcoming Nepali movie Pension Patta, directed by actor Maotse Gurung, has officially begun with a traditional auspicious ceremony. Investors include Min Konme Gurung (Sikles), Bhoj Bahadur Gurung (UK), and Sapana Gurung, while DB Gurung serves as the production manager. Cinematography will be handled by Sushan Prajapati, casting by Suraj Tamu, and music composed by Jhuma Limbu, Manoj Thapa Magar, and Shiv Baraily.

Maotse Gurung’s directorial debut, Dayarani, was a box office hit. In addition to acting, he has been active in writing and directing, particularly in Gurung-language films. In Pension Patta, Gurung takes on the roles of actor, director, and producer.
