The title song ‘Marubhumima Paani Jastai…’ from the social and political film Bigul has been officially released via OSR Digital on Monday. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on January 22 (Magh 9).
The song features vocals by Yubaraj Chaulagain and Anu Chaudhary, with Benisha Hamal and Naren Khadka appearing in the video. Lyrics and music are composed by Arjun Pokharel.
Directed by Ramesh Koirala, Bigul is written and produced by Dinesh Koirala. At a time when many films revolve around similar themes, Bigul aims to stand out by blending politics, family, society, relationships, and entertainment into a single narrative. The film has already drawn audience attention through its first look and teaser.
The cast includes Benisha Hamal, Naren Khadka, Ramesh Budhathoki, Neer Shah, Saroj Khanal, Hemant Budhathoki, Shishir Wangdel, Binod Nyaupane, JN Ghimire, Geeta Adhikari, Meera Pandit, and Manshree Sharma, among others.
Produced under the banner of Magnolia Group, the film is presented by Kalpana Paudel. The screenplay and dialogues are penned by Pradeep Bhardwaj and Maunata Shrestha. Cinematography is by Shiv Dhakal, choreography by Kamal Rai and Kabiraj Gahatraj, action direction by NV Maharjan, and editing by Tara Thapa ‘Kimbhe’. Music is composed by Bishwaprakash Sharma, Arjun Pokharel, and Manoj Chaulagain.
