Nationwide Live Concert Series Announced to Promote ‘Kumari’, Keher and The Lunga to Perform

Kathmandu — A nationwide live musical concert series has been announced to promote the Nepali romantic film ‘Kumari’, which is set to release on Magh 23. As the release date approaches, the production team aims to connect directly with audiences through music-driven live events.

According to the announced schedule, the ‘Kumari Live Musical Concert’ will take place between Magh 1 and 23 across Dang, Pokhara, Kathmandu, Nepalgunj, Chitwan, and Dharan. All concerts will feature live performances by the film’s playback singer Keher Singh Limbu and his band, ‘Keher and The Lunga’, who enjoy strong popularity among young audiences.

Songs from the film, including ‘Kata Chhau…’ and ‘Timi Bina…’, have already gained attention among listeners. Ahead of the concert tour, the production team is also preparing to release another song based on folk melodies. All songs in the film are voiced by Keher Singh Limbu.

Directed by Dinesh Raut—known for romantic films such as ‘I’m Sorry’, ‘November Rain’, and ‘Classic’‘Kumari’ is scheduled for release around Valentine’s Day, clearly targeting younger viewers.

The film stars newcomers Abishek Khadka and Aakriti Rajbhandari in lead roles, alongside Ghanshyam Joshi, Sunita Shrestha, Akanksha Karki, Madhu Khadka, Sanam Shrestha, Saku Shah, Saroj Lamichhane, and Manasha Sharma.

Produced by Binish Entertainment in collaboration with Picture Frame, ‘Kumari’ is produced by Mahendra Adhikari with Kedar Bhusal as executive producer. The story and script are written by Bikash Subedi. Cinematography is handled by Susan Prajapati, editing and color grading by Suprim Parajuli, and sound design by Uttam Neupane. Motion Pictures oversees digital distribution, while DCN will distribute the film in the Kathmandu Valley and Kuver Cine Distribution will handle theatrical release outside the valley.
