Kathmandu — The teaser of the psychological thriller film The Blue Light has been officially released. The teaser was unveiled on Thursday on the occasion of Christmas through the Mauri Pictures YouTube channel.
Opening with dialogues between Mahesh Tripathi and Benisha Hamal, the teaser attempts to portray themes of love, romance, attack, revenge, murder, fear, and legal entanglements. Centered around distrust, intent, and violence, the teaser hints at a psychological game where characters try to outwit and destroy one another.
Scenes of police interrogations along with a chain of criminal incidents are featured in the teaser. The background score and color tone effectively set the film’s dark and intense mood, offering a strong psychological thriller feel.
Along with the teaser, the production team has also announced a new release date for the film. Previously scheduled for release on Poush 10, The Blue Light will now hit theaters on Magh 16.
Directed by Baliram Chauhan, the film stars Benisha Hamal, Arpan Thapa, Aayushman Desraj Joshi, Srishti Shrestha, Mahesh Tripathi, and Surakshya Itani in lead roles. Child artists Grisma Katuwal and Sahara Sharma are also part of the cast.
Presented by Skyfall Pictures, the film is co-produced by Bholanath Katuwal and Raman Grey. Cinematographer Narendra Mainali and actress Benisha Hamal serve as executive producers.
The cinematography is handled by Narendra Mainali, with Aakash Ukheda as chief assistant director, Reliza Shrestha as production designer, and Dilip Pant as production controller.
