‘Aa Bata Aama’ Announces Cover Song and Acting Contest with NPR 50,000 Prize

The production team of the film Aa Bata Aama has announced a cover song and acting contest for its title track ‘Laija Khabar Ae Hawa’, offering a cash prize of NPR 50,000 to the winner.

Participants interested in singing are required to perform a cover version of the song, while those inclined toward acting must showcase their acting skills. Contestants must upload their videos on TikTok by January 26 (Magh 12). Only videos uploaded within the deadline will be considered for the competition, the producers said.

Director Chandra Pant informed that the winner will be selected based on the most impressive performance and will receive the cash prize on January 28 (Magh 14). Participants must mention OSR Digital’s TikTok account @osrdigitalnp while uploading their videos.

Produced under the banner of Arya Entertainment, Aa Bata Aama has been gaining traction on social media through its title song. Written and directed by Chandra Pant, the film stars Bipana Thapa, Paul Shah, Pradeep Rawat, Usha Upreti, Simran Pant, Saigres Pokhrel, Gajit Bista, and Begam Nepali in key roles.

The film features music by Koshish Chhetri, Babul Giri, and Thaneshwar Gautam, choreography by Gambhir Bista and Dilip Okheda, and cinematography by DOP Navaraj Upreti.

Dialogues penned by Abhimanyu Nirbid were developed in collaboration with Amar Nyaupane, Abhimanyu Nirbid, and Chandra Pant. The film is financed by Krishna Prasad Subedi, Omkar Pant, Prakashjang Kunwar, Dhruva Prasad Nyaupane, and Kshitij Dhungana, with Karan Singh Rasaily serving as executive producer.

Aa Bata Aama will be distributed theatrically in Nepal by RR Films, while OSR Digital holds the digital rights. The film is scheduled for release on January 30 (Magh 16).
