Action Teaser of ‘Prativaeram’ Released
Kathmandu — The action-packed teaser of the film ‘Prativaeram’, directed by Roshan Das, has been released. The 1-minute-29-second teaser was unveiled at a special event held in Kathmandu.

Based on social and political issues of the Madhesh region, the teaser hints at intense action, crime, and social realities. It also touches upon themes such as the dowry system and sibling relationships, adding emotional depth to the narrative.

Actor Samrat Das appears in a powerful avatar. According to the director, although this marks Das’s debut film, the role is expected to be a significant milestone in his career.

The film features performances by Samrat Das, Supragya Sharma, Birendra Kushwaha, Alisha Bastola, Ronnie Yadav, Biki Shah, Naveen Shrestha, Geeta Shree, Ashish DK, Pradeep Dhakal, Narayan BK, Bikey Shah and Ramesh Budhathoki, among others.

Produced by Rage Entertainment in collaboration with King YT, the film is edited by Kabir Wod. Directed with the aim of authentically portraying the culture, stories and socio-political issues of Madhesh, ‘Prativaeram’ is slated for release in May 2026 (Jestha 2083).

The film is made in Nepali, Hindi, Maithili and Bhojpuri, and its digital rights have been acquired by Yuna Digital.
