Film Development Board Launches Campaign to Collect Nepali Film Posters

Kathmandu — The Film Development Board has launched a campaign to collect Nepali film posters, both digital and physical, for display at the Film Museum established under the Board.

According to the Board, a special exhibition featuring Nepali film posters is being planned with the aim of preserving and promoting the history, art, and cultural heritage of Nepali cinema. Issuing a public notice, the Board has requested film producers, directors, and other stakeholders to submit posters of films they are associated with.

Board Chairperson Dinesh DC said, “Nepali film posters are not just promotional materials; they are important records of our cinematic history and the times they represent. Through preservation and public exhibition, we aim to introduce the younger generation to the journey of Nepali cinema.”

The Board has urged all filmmakers and authorized rights holders to submit film posters in digital or physical form by next Tuesday to support this initiative.
