Kathmandu – Veteran musician Shambhujit Baskota is in mourning after the death of his mother, Mitu Baskota, who passed away on Sunday morning during treatment.
The 106-year-old was admitted to Om Hospital in Chabahil after health complications and passed away during treatment. Her final rites are scheduled for today.
Shambhujit shared his grief on social media, writing,
“My mother has left me alone and departed from this world forever…”
She is survived by one son, Shambhujit, and three daughters.
