Kathmandu: Actress Laxmi Bardewa has been appointed as a central committee member of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP). She was nominated from Balen Shah’s team.
Speaking to Onlinekhabar, Bardewa said she had received the proposal some time ago and decided to enter politics after careful consideration. She stated that while acting remains her profession, she plans to pursue politics alongside her artistic career to raise her voice through political engagement.
Her latest film ‘Abhimanyu’ was released recently, while ‘Shakti’, ‘Pariwar’, and ‘Hami Tin Bhai’ are currently in the pipeline.
