‘Harami’ Web Series Released on YouTube, Targets Young Audience

Kathmandu: The web series ‘Harami’, written and directed by content creator Bishwas Timsina, popularly known as ‘BT Kanchha’, has been released on YouTube.

The five-episode series is available on the ‘BT Kanchha’ YouTube channel, with each episode running approximately 25 minutes. Well-known Nepali film personalities appear as guest stars in different episodes, including director Nischal Basnet, actor Aayushman Joshi, actress Ana Sharma, and Gaumaya Gurung.

Director Timsina said the series was created to offer unique content targeting young audiences. “The series does not only appeal to domestic viewers but also focuses on youth lifestyles, thoughts, and relationships,” she said.

The story revolves around the lives of three young people living in the same flat, exploring various aspects of love, career, and relationships. Each episode covers a different theme. Timsina revealed that the inspiration for the series came from the life of one of its characters, Nikun Shrestha.

Nikun Shrestha serves as the executive producer, with Safal KC as producer and Pratik Gurung as creative producer. Regular cast members include Rishikesh Basyal, Sashank Bohara, and Raksha Thapa.
