Kathmandu — The team behind the blockbuster Nepali film Boksi Ko Ghar has announced a new project. Actress Keki Adhikari and director Sulakshyan Bharti are collaborating once again on a new film titled Petrol Pump.

Recalling their earlier commitment, Keki said, “During the release of Boksi Ko Ghar, we had mentioned that we would work together again if an interesting project and the right time came. That time has now arrived with Petrol Pump.”

The film will be directed by Sulakshyan Bharti, who has also written the story. Keki Adhikari will serve as the producer. The duo had worked in the same roles in Boksi Ko Ghar as well.

Petrol Pump, a social drama film, is scheduled for release in 2083 BS. The production team has not yet disclosed the cast details.

“We will gradually share detailed information about the cast and technical team,” Keki said.

Both Keki and Sulakshyan had acted in Boksi Ko Ghar, with Keki playing the lead role. Produced by Badri Adhikari, the film collected over NPR 110 million at the Nepali box office, making it a blockbuster. It was also Keki’s first production venture. The song Bujhina Maile from the film had gone viral.

Keki added, “Just as we introduced a new taste to the audience with our first film and received positive responses, we will try to bring something new again with Petrol Pump.”
