Dharan — The upcoming Nepali film ‘Kumari’, set to release on 23 Magh, has unveiled what the makers claim is Nepal’s largest poster. The 8-story Friends Cinema Hall in Dharan is fully covered with a 3,200-square-foot (40×80 feet) hoarding board.
According to the production team, printing the poster cost around NPR 80,000. The makers claim it is the largest poster ever printed and installed in Nepal, drawing attention from passersby in the busy area of Dharan.
The film’s song ‘Doko Bunne Nigali Choyale’ is currently trending. Featuring singer Kehar Sin Limbu and his band ‘Kehar & The Lunga’, the film is organizing ‘Kumari Live Musical Concerts’ across five cities: Nepalgunj, Pokhara, Chitwan, Kathmandu, and Damak. The events will also include appearances by lead actors Abhishek Khadka, Aakriti Rajbhandari, and director Dinesh Raut.
Directed by romance-specialist Dinesh Raut, ‘Kumari’ is being praised as a strong presentation of a love story. The screenplay is by Bikash Subedi, and the film is produced by Mahendra Adhikari.
