Kathmandu —
The song Kun Hawale from the upcoming film The Blue Light has been released. The production team unveiled the track on Monday through the YouTube channel Mauri Pictures, highlighting the film’s emotional depth.

The song features lyrics by Sitsuma Adhikari, music by SD Yogi and vocals by Salina Bik. It captures the pain of shattered dreams, broken promises and emotional betrayal, reflecting a world that collapses before dreams can be fulfilled.

Through its lyrics and melody, the song portrays the agony of unkept vows, the inner turmoil of waiting for a lost lover and the emotional breakdown of a person torn apart moment by moment. It draws a poignant contrast between those who value pure love and those who fail to understand its depth.

The music video features Ayushman Deshraj Joshi, Benisha Hamal, Arpan Thapa and Srishti Shrestha. The melancholic tone of the song hints at the film’s narrative, suggesting a deeper conflict between sincere love and emotional manipulation.

A psychological thriller, The Blue Light stars Benisha Hamal, Arpan Thapa, Ayushman Deshraj Joshi, Srishti Shrestha, Mahesh Tripathi and Surakshya Itani in lead roles, with child actors Grisma Katuwal and Sahara Sharma also appearing.

Scheduled for release on January 29, the film is directed by Baliram Chauhan. Presented by Skyfall Pictures, the film is co-produced by Bholanath Katuwal and Raman Grey, with cinematographer Narendra Mainali and actress Benisha Hamal serving as executive producers. The cinematography is by Mainali, with Akash Ukheda as chief assistant director, Raleza Shrestha as production designer and Dilip Pant as production controller.
