Actor Aakash Shrestha, who has been absent from lead roles on the big screen for the past few years, is officially making his comeback. Although he appeared in cameo roles during this period and remained active in music videos, Shrestha had been waiting for a strong story to return as a leading actor.
His return has now been confirmed through an untitled action film directed by Rupesh Tamang, known for action films such as Jai Shambhu and Danbhi. The agreement between Shrestha and the production team was signed on the occasion of Maghe Sankranti.
The film will be made entirely in the action genre, with plans to present Shrestha in a never-seen-before avatar. Both the director and the actor have expressed strong enthusiasm for the project, with Shrestha stating that the film aims to meet the audience’s long-standing expectations.
The story has been written by Suman Gajmer, and shooting is scheduled to begin in late Falgun. Details regarding the film’s title, cast, and technical crew will be revealed gradually.
The film will be produced under the banner of Juna Films, generating growing anticipation among audiences.
