Kathmandu — The first song from the upcoming Nepali film ‘Shivansh’, titled ‘Baisha Bhusukai’, has been released today on YouTube.
The song features vocals by Rajanraj Shivakoti and Samiksha Adhikari, with lyrics written by Rajanraj Shivakoti and Saroj Ranjitkar. The music is composed by Rajanraj Shivakoti himself.
The song combines a romantic, local-style melody with charming rural lyrics, making it catchy. It portrays themes of love, admiration, attraction, and destiny between the lead couple.
The music video stars Tej Giri, Bimala Limbu, and Barat Limbu, with choreography by Bikram Chauhan.
The film is scheduled for release on Fagun 1 (February 13), coinciding with Maha Shivaratri. Presented by Anjan Cinema Production House, the film is directed by Santosh Kumar Atreya, marking his directorial debut. Producer: Anjan KC.
Lead actors include Praveen Khatiwada, Tej Giri, and Rusha Nyaupane, with supporting roles by Vikas Joshi, Bimala Limbu, Pradeep Kumar Chaudhary, Sabir Churauthe, Uday Kumar Subba, Tika Niraula, and Kundan.
The story is written by Anjan KC, with co-producers Shobha Bhandari and Anis KC Bogati, and screenplay by Barat Limbu.
Music composition is by New Bajracharya and Rajanraj Shivakoti, with lyrics by Biplav Pratik and Rajanraj Shivakoti. Vocals are performed by Rajanraj Shivakoti, Milan Newar, and Samiksha Adhikari.
