Pokhara — The highly anticipated Nepali film ‘Kumari’, set to release on Magh 23, held a grand promotional musical concert on Saturday evening at Hallanchowk, Pokhara, titled ‘Kumari Live Musical Concert with Kehar and The Lunga’. Around 7,000 spectators attended, adding vibrant energy to the event.
Film leads Abhishek Khadka and Aakriti Rajbhandari received thunderous applause from the audience when they appeared on stage. Their live dance performance of the popular song ‘Doko Bunne Nigali Choyale’ electrified the crowd. The duo expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and encouraged viewers to watch the film in theaters starting Magh 23.
The musical atmosphere was further amplified by singer Kehar Singh Limbu and his band ‘Kehar and The Lunga’, who performed film tracks ‘Doko Bunne…’, ‘Kata Chhau Mero Phool’, ‘Timi Bina’ as well as their hits ‘Sarar’ and ‘Baguni’. The Pokhareli audience danced along enthusiastically.
The concert was organized locally by Prachaar, and presented by Big Mart and Powered By.
Director Dinesh Raut expressed his excitement over the audience’s overwhelming love in Pokhara, thanking fans directly from the stage for their support.
Produced by Mahendra Adhikari under Vinish Entertainment, the film’s team will continue promotions in Chitwan on Magh 6, Kathmandu on Magh 10, and Damak, Jhapa on Magh 17. The official trailer of the film will also be unveiled during a special concert at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu, on Magh 10.
