Kathmandu, 05 Magh — The release date for the Nepali film ‘Bigul’ has been announced. According to storyteller and producer Dinesh Koirala, the movie will premiere nationwide on Falgun 1.
Directed by Ramesh Koirala, the film stars Benisha Hamal, Naren Khadka, Neer Shah, Ramesh Budhathoki, Binod Nyaupane, Shishir Bangdel, Hemant Budhathoki, Geeta Adhikari, and Rabindra Khadka, along with newcomer Mira Pandit in lead roles.
The movie focuses on Nepal’s current political scenario, public sentiment, and socio-political realities, striking a chord with audiences even before its release through its songs, teaser, and trailer.
Kafia Films and Shree Baskets Entertainment will distribute the film. Cinematography is by Shiv Dhakal, action direction by NB Maharjan, editing by Tara Thapa Kimbhe, and music composed by Bishwaprakash Sharma, Arjun Pokharel, and Manoj Chaulagai. The screenplay and dialogues are crafted by Pradeep Bhardwaj and Maunata Shrestha.
