Kathmandu – The production team has officially announced the release date of the film ‘Roll No. 1’ on the auspicious occasion of Vidyaki Devi Saraswati Puja (Basant Panchami) on Friday.
Produced under Seven Seas Cinema, the film is set to release on May 29, 2083 B.S. (Republic Day). In a unique announcement, the release date was revealed at Pathik Gyan Niketan School, where the main child actors study, during a Saraswati Puja ceremony.
Producer Binod Paudel stated that the film will be simultaneously released in Nepal and abroad.
The film’s primary sequences were shot in the scenic rural areas of Himalayan district Myagdi. Director Jon Yonjan mentioned that the movie is entirely based on child psychology. Written by Mahesh Dawadi, the film stars Mukun Bhusal, Sushank Mainali, Renu Yogi, and Sirjana Adhikari in lead roles. Child actors include Nirbhik Regmi, Rinchen Lama, Sanyam Katuwal, and Sijal Shrestha.
