Kathmandu. Actress Jasita Gurung has officially signed on for the upcoming Nepali film “Parash,” directed by Krisha Chaulagain. The production team confirmed her signing on Saturday.
Earlier reports stated that actor Nikhil Upreti had already been finalized for the film. While there is growing speculation that Jasita will star opposite him, the production team has not made an official confirmation. Details about other cast members have also been kept under wraps, adding to audience curiosity.
Director Chaulagain said the casting process is being carried out gradually in line with the story and character requirements, and formal agreements have already been completed.
The action–social drama is being produced under the banner of KP Films. The screenplay is written by Indian writer Sachin Ladia, while cinematography will be handled by renowned DOP Purushottam Pradhan.
Chaulagain previously directed Aicho Paicho and Pitambar. Parash will mark her third directorial project. The production team is preparing to begin filming from Falgun.
