Kathmandu. The upcoming Nepali film “Paanch Pandav” is set to offer audiences a full Dolby Atmos sound experience. According to the production team, the entire sound design and mixing will be completed at Nepal’s newly launched Dolby Atmos studio.

Presenter Nabin Shrestha stated that Paanch Pandav will be the first Nepali film to complete its sound work at this new facility. A formal agreement has already been signed with studio operator Santosh Sharma, in the presence of lead actor Hari Bansha Acharya and director Basanta Niraula.

“We are not compromising on sound. We want to deliver a technically strong film with a distinct audio experience for audiences,” Shrestha said.

The film has already held its auspicious launch ceremony. Directed by Basanta Niraula, the cast includes Hari Bansha Acharya, Jitu Nepal, and Sagar Lamsal (Bale), among others. Deepa Shree Niraula and Rajani Gurung will play the female leads.

Despite its mythological-sounding title, the production team clarified that Paanch Pandav is a social drama, not a religious film.

Presented by Kali Rani Films, the film’s story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by Sushil Paudel, who is also known for the acclaimed film Prasad. Nabin Shrestha serves as presenter, while Kali Rani Shrestha is the producer.

Filming is expected to begin within the next few months, with Dilip Pant serving as production manager.
