Kathmandu. The upcoming Nepali film A Bata Aama, set for release on Magh 16, has received a Universal Certificate from the Central Film Censor Board, making it suitable for audiences of all age groups.
Director Chandra Pant said the film was intentionally crafted as a family-oriented story. According to him, even the title reflects the emotional and maternal theme that connects with viewers across generations.
Actors Bipana Thapa and Indian actor Pradeep Rawat are currently in Nepal promoting the film. Other cast members including Pal Shah, Usha Upreti, and Simran Pant are also actively engaged in promotional activities.
The song “Laija Khabar Ae Hawa” from the film has already gained notable popularity among audiences.
Presented by Arya Entertainment, the film features Bipana Thapa, Pal Shah, Pradeep Rawat, Usha Upreti, Simran Pant, Saigrace Pokharel, Gajit Bista, and Begam Nepali in key roles.
The story and screenplay are written by director Chandra Pant. Music is composed by Koshish Chhetri, Babul Giri, and Thaneshwor Gautam. Cinematography is handled by Nabaraj Upreti, editing by Milan Shrestha, while the trailer and teaser were produced by Sahil Khan.
The film will be distributed by RR Films, with digital rights held by OSR Digital.
