Growing Audience Buzz for Bigul After Nationwide Promotional Tour

Kathmandu. As its release date approaches, promotional activities for the Nepali film Bigul have intensified. The film team has completed a week-long western Nepal audience interaction tour ahead of its nationwide release on Falgun 1.

After earlier engaging with audiences in eastern cities including Biratnagar, Itahari, Dharan, Damak, Birtamod, Hetauda, and Chitwan, the team visited Butwal, Bhairahawa, Dang, Kohalpur, Nepalgunj, and Pokhara in this latest phase.

Producer and story writer Dinesh Koirala said the response from audiences was highly encouraging. “Everywhere we went, people said they were eagerly waiting to watch Bigul,” he shared, adding that local leaders, media professionals, Nepal Jaycees members, and students offered strong support.

Actor Naren Khadka expressed confidence that the film will appeal to viewers across age groups and communities. Director Ramesh Koirala noted that the film portrays the voice of ordinary people, addressing contemporary political realities, family responsibilities, and citizens’ rights.

The promotional tour also included interactive sessions with students in Pokhara. Nepal Jaycees played an active role in supporting the outreach events.

Presented by Kalpana Poudel under the Magnolia Group banner, Bigul stars Naren Khadka, Benisha Hamal, Ramesh Budhathoki, Neer Shah, Saroj Khanal, Hemant Budhathoki, Shishir Wangdel, Binod Neupane, JN Ghimire, Gita Adhikari, Meera Pandit, Manshree Sharma, and Rabindra Khadka.

The screenplay and dialogues are written by Pradeep Bhardwaj and Maunata Shrestha. Cinematography is by Shiva Dhakal, editing by Tara Thapa “Kimbhe,” and music by Bishwaprakash Sharma, Arjun Pokharel, and Manoj Chaulagain.

The film will be distributed by Kafiya Films inside Kathmandu Valley and Shree Byankets Entertainment across other regions.
