Kathmandu. As the release date approaches, the team behind the upcoming Nepali film Aa Bata Aama has intensified its promotional campaign with a visit to Pokhara. The film is scheduled for nationwide release on Magh 16.
The promotional team includes lead actors Bipana Thapa, Pal Shah, Usha Upreti, Simran Pant, Saigrace Pokharel, along with executive producer Karan Singh Rasali. A press meet was organized in Pokhara to share details about the film’s theme and production journey.
The film recently received a Universal Certificate from Nepal’s Central Film Censor Board, making it suitable for audiences of all ages. Director Chandra Pant said the certification aligns with the film’s family-oriented storytelling.
Actors Bipana Thapa and Pradeep Rawat have also joined the promotional campaign from India, while Nepal-based cast members continue nationwide outreach efforts.
Presented by Arya Entertainment, the film features performances by Bipana Thapa, Pal Shah, Pradeep Rawat, Usha Upreti, Simran Pant, Saigrace Pokharel, Gajit Bista, and Begam Nepali, among others. The story and screenplay are written by director Chandra Pant. Music is composed by Koshish Chhetri, Babul Giri, and Thaneshwar Gautam.
Cinematography is handled by Navaraj Upreti, editing by Milan Shrestha, and trailer/teaser editing by Sahil Khan. The film will be distributed by RR Films, while digital rights are held by OSR Digital.
Songs from the film are also gaining strong traction online, with “Laija Khabar Ae Hawa” and “Jandai Chu Nau Danda Katera” surpassing 3 million views.
