Kathmandu — A satirical song titled Are Ho Neta Ji from the upcoming Nepali film Zero Degree has been released on YouTube via Moviez Digitainment channel. The track critiques contemporary politics and politicians’ evasive responses to citizens’ questions about development.

The song features actor Vijay Baral and singer Ankit Babu Adhikari, with music composed by Adhikari and lyrics by Yubaraj Kafle. The video humorously depicts how leaders give vague answers while claiming “this is development” in response to citizens’ concerns.

Produced under the Meghauli Films banner, Zero Degree is a dark comedy set in a remote village where, following the death of parents, children living abroad bring a “deep freezer” to preserve the body until they arrive, triggering chaotic events. The film aims to highlight deeper social realities beyond this premise.

Directed by Aakash Baral and Sajan Kafle, with screenplay and dialogue contributions from them, the film also stars its storyteller Rajan Bhusal. Executive producer is Moti Karki, cinematography by Nishal Paudel, editing by Chanas Magar, and art direction by Rick Ved. Poster and publicity design is by Royal Bhimsen (Trident Concept), and distribution will be handled by Kuber Cine Distribution.
