Kathmandu — Aa Bata Aama has crossed NPR 112.4 million in gross collections in its fourth week, emerging as one of the year’s biggest hits.
According to the Film Development Board, the film now ranks as the fourth highest-grossing release of the year, with 423,111 tickets sold so far — reflecting strong word-of-mouth and steady audience turnout.
Directed by Chandra Pant, the family drama has particularly drawn family audiences. Industry watchers are now keen to see whether it can surpass the NPR 178.4 million record set by Paran.
The production team has already announced a sequel, Aa Bata Aama 2, following the film’s blockbuster success.
