Kathmandu – Applications have been announced for the National Inclusive Music Award (NIM Award) 2026, Nepal’s first inclusive music award organized annually under the presentation of Power International Media Nepal (PIM Nepal).
This year marks the 9th edition of the National Inclusive Music Award. According to program coordinator and General Secretary of PIM Nepal, Kamala Joshi, the grand finale ceremony will be held in Kathmandu in the third week of Baisakh 2083 (Nepali calendar).
The NIM Award features participation from artists across the country and gives special priority to songs and music in Nepal’s diverse languages. With enthusiastic participation from songs in various languages, it is regarded as Nepal’s first inclusive music award platform.
Songs and music videos in several languages spoken in Nepal—such as Kanthe, Deuda, Nepal Bhasa, Tamang, Maithili, Bhojpuri, Rai, Limbu, Tharu (Chaudhary), Sherpa, Magar, Gurung, Satar, and Sunuwar—have participated in previous editions. Organizers say these languages and musical traditions will also be included this year.
Songs and music videos released between January 1, 2025 and December 30, 2025 will be eligible for participation.
The award program will be managed by Era Production Pvt. Ltd. Application forms will be available at the organizer’s office, and participants can also submit their forms online through Eventoz Digital.
