‘Gairaghare Kaili’ from Mitjyu Released: Dayahang, Saugat & Teriya Dazzle with Energetic Dance

Kathmandu — The first song “Gairaghare Kaili” from the upcoming Nepali film Mitjyu, set to release on Jestha 8, has been officially unveiled, creating excitement among audiences.

The folk-based track features energetic performances by lead actors Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, and Teriya Phouja Magar, whose vibrant dance moves have made the song visually appealing. Teriya, in particular, stands out with her impressive performance.

The song is sung by Shreekrishna Bam Malla and Melina Rai, with lyrics and music composed by Malla himself. The arrangement is done by Shyam Shwet Rasaili, while choreography is handled by Mingma D. Lepcha, who has beautifully blended traditional rhythm with modern presentation.

Producer Janak Gharti Magar stated that the song perfectly fits the storyline of the film and expressed confidence that audiences will appreciate it.

Directed by Anil Budha Magar, Mitjyu is based on a rural and mountainous social backdrop. The film features a large ensemble cast including Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, Teriya Phouja Magar, Pushkar Gurung, Shishir Wangdel, Raj Thapa, Suwarna Thapa, Anu Thapa, Smita Lamichhane, Arun Pun Magar, Uttam Raj Pandey, Sabin Kattel, Umesh Sonam, Pavitra Khadka, Chahana Rana Magar, Anusha Rai, and Khadga Bahadur Pun Magar.

This film marks the debut of Teriya Magar in Nepali cinema.

Produced under the GM Movies Production banner, the film is edited by Lokesh Bajracharya and cinematographed by Shishir Bishankhe. Firoj Khadka serves as the chief assistant director, supported by Anil Dahal, Sanju Nepali, and Elmina Rai.

Action direction is by Prabhat Bista, with sound design by Nabin Shrestha. The film will be distributed by RR Films, while OSR has acquired its digital rights.
