Kathmandu — The majority of shooting for the upcoming Nepali film ‘Kasturi’, starring Nikhil Upreti and Barsha Siwakoti, has been completed. Director Rit Bohora revealed that only a few village scenes and songs remain to be filmed, finishing the bulk of shooting in just 35 days.
Bohora said, “We’ve completed almost all the filming in 35 days. Only a few song sequences and village shots are left. Everything else is done.”
The film is centered on mystery, suspense, and deep layers of crime, marking the first on-screen pairing of Nikhil Upreti and Barsha Siwakoti.
The cast also includes Shekhar Chapagain, Nirmal Sharma, Nisha Adhikari, Arjun Gurung, Bholaraj Sapkota, Sabi Thapa, Prashant KC, Santosh Baniya, Subash Banjan, Mira Pandit, Ghanshyam Joshi, Shreya Shrestha, Pratistha Thapa, Neha Gautam, with special appearances by Gaurav Pahari and Hena Nagarkoti.
Produced under Ten Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the film is directed and written by Rit Bohora, with Dhiraj Kumar Agrawal as the producer. Co-producer is Anjali Chaudhary, and key crew includes Lalit Bista (assistant director), Alok Shukla (cinematography), Prashant Shivakoti (music), Dilip Pant (production management).
While most of the shooting is complete, the release date will be announced soon.
