‘Mitjyu’ song ‘Gairaghare Kainli’ crosses 1.1 million views in 6 days

Kathmandu — The first song “Gairaghare Kainli” from the Nepali film Mitjyu, produced by Janak Gharti Magar, has gained strong audience traction shortly after its release.

The song has surpassed 1.1 million views on YouTube within just six days, marking an impressive early response. The production team has expressed खुशी over the reception, with the producer thanking viewers for their overwhelming support.

As of reporting time, the song has received over 24,000 likes and more than 1,300 comments, most of them praising the music, visuals, and performances.

Teria Fauja Magar’s dance and Saugat Malla’s refreshed screen presence have particularly drawn attention. Viewers noted that Malla appears in a different avatar compared to his usual roles.

The music video features Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, and Teria Fauja Magar. While Malla and Teria perform in traditional village attire, Rai appears in a narrative-driven role.

The song is sung by Shreekrishna Bam Malla and Melina Rai, with lyrics and music also composed by Malla. Choreography is by Mingma D Lepcha.

Directed by Anil Budha Magar, Mitjyu features a large ensemble cast and also marks Teria’s debut as an actress.

The film is scheduled for nationwide release on Jestha 8.
