After Last Year’s Flop ‘Cetaamoal’, Raj Bahadur Sane Announces ‘Gangarani’

Kathmandu — Active writer and director in the Nepali film industryRaj Bahadur Sane has announced the production of a new film ‘Gangarani’ on the occasion of New Year 2083 and his birthday. The film, which will be made under the banner of Aaha Films, has been formally announced.

The film ‘Gangarani’, which is being prepared under the writing and direction of national award-winning Sane himself, is scheduled to go into shooting by the end of the month of Jestha. According to director Sane, the artists and technical team of this love story-based film are yet to be finalized.

Along with the announcement of the film, the theme poster has also been made public, which has increased curiosity among the audience. The poster presents a scene where a young man is standing holding a guitar and a young woman is leaning against a car. It is stated that the film will present a love story between a poor young man and a rich young woman.

This is the 12th film of director Sane, in which almost all of his films have been flops. Last year, his directed film ‘Sitamoal’ was badly flopped at the box office. He has already worked in films like ‘Pathshala’, ‘The Return Hero’, ‘Lati’, ‘Brindavan’, ‘Birangana’, ‘Doli’, ‘Good Friend’, ‘Silly Pho’, ‘Bulaki’, ‘Juna’ and ‘Sitamoal’.

Despite almost all films being flops, Sane had won the National Award for Best Screenplay from ‘Bulaki’.
