‘Comedy Darbar Season 3’ Begins Filming, Set to Air from Baisakh 4

Kathmandu — The third season of the popular comedy television show Comedy Darbar has officially begun filming, with its broadcast scheduled to start from Baisakh 4.

The production team kicked off shooting at a studio in Putalisadak, completing two episodes on the first day. The first episode featured the team of Mitjyu, including Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, Shishir Bangdel, and Teria Magar, while the second episode hosted the team of Pahad.

Following the success of its previous seasons, the show introduces several changes this time, including a revamped set and an expanded judging panel. Actress Diya Maskey joins as a new “Rani,” alongside returning judges Gauri Malla and Manoj Gajurel.

New comedians—Dinesh Kafle, Santosh Thapa, and Sujan Jimbha—have also joined the lineup. The show will air every Friday night on Prime Television and OSR Reality YouTube channel.

Directed by Shraddha Prasai and Bikky Agrawal, the show is hosted by Bikky alongside Sajina Khanal. Writing duties are handled by Saroj Bhandari and Bikash Aryal, with several returning comedians continuing their roles this season.
