Popular singer Bishal Soni, known for the hit song ‘Tanatan Hanahan Syauli Bazar’, has released his new track. On the occasion of the New Year, he dropped a duet song titled ‘Pachyouri Berirahoon’ in collaboration with singer Shanti Shree Pariyar.

Previously criticized for light entertainment-style songs, Soni has now presented himself in a more serious artistic tone.

While the song primarily portrays youthful romance, its music video highlights serious social issues such as sexual violence in Nepali society and the psychological trauma faced by victims, questioning victim-blaming attitudes and encouraging resistance against such crimes.

In the video, Soni stars alongside model Komal Nepali. He portrays a member of the Rautes community in the storyline.

At the end of the video, he clarifies that the story is not about the Raute community and urges viewers not to misunderstand its context. He also calls for strict punishment against sexual violence and encourages survivors to stay strong and speak up.

The song features a catchy and simple melody, which Soni believes will help it gain popularity similar to his previous hit ‘Tanatan Hanahan Syauli Bazar’.

The lyrics and music are composed by Soni himself. The video is directed and choreographed by Mukesh Nepali, while cinematography is handled by Prakash Khadka and his team. Editing, color grading, and VFX are done by Milan Bishwakarma.

Soni first rose to popularity with the song ‘Makai Bari Daryam Daryam’.
